FIRST EVER
NASCOE MEMBERS SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

 The Scholarship Committee is proud to announce the “first ever” NASCOE Members Scholarship recipients. We had a total of five (5) applicants for the scholarship and we are proud to announce that the NASCOE Board along with our co-sponsor, JM Marketing, will pay the $200 scholarship award to ALL five applicants.

 Let me begin with saying that “we are so very proud to have Jim Mace & JM Marketing co-sponsoring this worthy program for our members that desire to enhance their careers within FSA.” JM Marketing is sponsoring 60% of the cost of the scholarship program. We “thank” Mr. Mace for this contribution to NASCOE & our members.

 Mr. Mace along with the Scholarship Committee recommended to the NASCOE Board that the rule to pay 1 person per area be suspended and all 5 recipients be awarded the scholarship this year. We felt that this would be a great way to kick the program off and increase interest for future years. After consideration of the recommendation during the pre-negotiating meeting, the NASCOE Officers & Exec’s agreed with our recommendation.

 NASCOE Treasurer, Shelly Odenkirk has issued or will issue those checks to the following recipients:

 From the MW Area: Patty Taylor of Indiana & Matthew Wallace of Ohio

 From the SE Area: Brenda Fuquay of Mississippi

 From the NE Area: Dawn Pindell of Connecticut & Callista Little of Pennsylvania
