2008 DSA AWARDS

 It’s that time of year again when you begin to finish up on the final touches of the DSA nomination that you are making. If you haven’t begun, it’s SHOWTIME!! The Awards Committee would inform you that the final date to submit nominations to the Area Chairs is February 20, 2008. Don’t wait until the last minute to get it done.

 Should you feel that you need help in writing the nomination, last year’s winners are posted on the NASCOE web-site. These nominations will give you an idea of what to include in the write-up. Should you have other questions, you can contact your State Awards Chairperson, your Area Chairperson, or Herb Sorley, the national chairman.

 Just to give you a little look into the future:

 March 15, 2008 Area DSA Awards selections will be completed and the Area Chairs will submit their winners to the national chairman.

 March 20, 2008 The plaques for the Area winners will be ordered. Hopefully there will not be any Area Rally’s prior to the end of March. Our plaque vendor can generally get those out quickly. We hope to have all the plaques ready to present to those recipients during their respective rallies.

 April 15, 2008 Winners from the Area’s will have been judged and we will be able.

To announce the three (3) winners by no later than May1, 2008.

 Presentations to the National winners will be made at the NASCOE Convention in Omaha, Nebraska.
