Formed in 1965, and with more than 8,000 members, the National Association of Farmer Elected Commitee Members works to promote and improve the farmer elected committee system for the local administration of farm programs.

Today we received good news from our FSA National headquarters office. At the request of NAFEC, John Berge the Acting Deputy Administrator of Field Operations and his staff have prepared a memo to all SED's and AO's across the country regarding NAFEC membership. This message is shown below and from what I understand it is already going out through various channels in many states. We appreciate this very positive response from the headquarters office and would encourage you to pass this message along to your membership and all county office employees.
